Sigma Phi Gamma

Sigma Phi Gamma (SPG) is an on-campus club that gives students an opportunity to make new friends, participate in rewarding community service projects and enjoy a more fulfilling college experience.

How It All Began

In 1998, a group of students created Sigma Phi Gamma to plan social events and bring students of all backgrounds together to have a good time. Since then, SPG has evolved into an official Seminole State club whose members want to give back to our community and have fun in a laid-back atmosphere.

Why Join SPG?

Many students enter community colleges thinking that they cannot get a genuine university experience while they are studying there. Seminole State College works to prove them wrong by maximizing student opportunities on campus. With SPG, students can feel comfortable about themselves in a group of like-minded individuals who enjoy being around others with similar interests, while working to improve our community.

Members of Sigma Phi Gamma have a lot of fun together outside of school. Once a month we meet for "SPG Love Nights," where members hang out together and enjoy things like:

  • Movie and bowling nights
  • Trips to Wet 'n' Wild
  • Go-kart racing
  • Beach outings

Meetings

SPG meetings are held weekly on three Seminole State campuses.
