Procedure for Students on Academic Probation or Suspension
Academic Probation
- Obtain a copy of your unofficial Seminole State College transcript. To do so:
- Log in to the Student Center of your MySeminoleState account.
- On the left-hand side of the screen, under Academics, find the drop-down menu that says "other academic..." Select "Transcript Request" from this menu, and click the double-arrow icon to continue to the next page.
- Click "View my unofficial transcript."
- Select the Academic Institution and Report Type from the drop-down menus, and click "view report."
- Print your unofficial transcript.
- Obtain a copy of your educational pan.
- Go to www.seminolestate.edu/counseling/ed-plans, and scroll to the Plans by Degree/Certificate Type section.
- Select your educational plan.
- If you are pursuing an Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree, click "Associate in Arts Degree Sub-Plans." From the list provided, select the major you plan to study at a four-year college or university. If you are undecided about your college major, select "General Education."
- If you are pursuing an Associate in Science (A.S.) degree, click "Associate in Science Degree Plans." From the list provided, select the degree you are pursuing.
- If you are pursuing a college credit certificate or an applied technology diploma, click "College Credit Certificate and Applied Technology Diploma Plans." From the list provided, select the certificate or diploma you are pursuing.
- Print a copy of the educational plan you have selected.
- Meet with your academic advisor or counselor. Bring all required documents with you to the meeting.
Academic Suspension
- Complete steps 1 and 2 listed above in the Academic Probation section.
- Complete a Readmission, Fourth Attempt or Repeat of a Course form.
- Meet with your academic advisor or counselor. Bring all required documents with you to the meeting.
