The performance of all full-time employees and regular part-time personnel shall be appraised at least once a year. The performance of temporary part-time personnel shall be appraised as appropriate. The principal purposes of the performance appraisal process are to encourage employee development, to strengthen individual professional effectiveness, and to provide documentation for appropriate personnel action.
