Research

Dr. Battle has studied several areas of experimental physics, including paleomagnetism, the study of the history of the Earth's magnetic field; and biophysics, the study of the physics describing biological systems.

Interests

Dr. Battle enjoys knitting, playing video games and reading science fiction. She is a fan of animals in general, but her cat, Neutrino, will not allow her to have any other pets.
