Seminole State nursing students may be eligible to receive the Sally Burgoyne Smith, R.N. Endowed Scholarship.

Amount

This scholarship is worth $1,000.

Application Process

• Fill out the standard Seminole State scholarship application.
• Write a letter addressed to the Nursing Scholarship Committee expressing interest, career-related goals and financial need.
• Submit the application and the letter to Judith Laney in the Nursing Office.

Criteria for Selection

In order to be considered for the Sally Burgoyne Smith, R.N. Endowed Scholarship, you must:

• Currently be enrolled in the Seminole State Nursing Program
• Maintain a 3.8 GPA
• Show evidence of financial need
• Be a resident of Seminole County

While it isn't a requirement, preference is given to graduates of the Seminole High School Health Careers Program.
