Minority Nurse Scholarship
Financial assistance to help racial and ethnic minority nursing students fulfill their professional education goals is critically needed at all levels, from students in associate degree and diploma programs to PhD candidates. But many nursing educators agree that it is the BSN degree that opens the most doors of opportunity for students of color-doors to better jobs, graduate study and careers in research, academia, advanced practice and health care management.
That's why Minority Nurse created an annual scholarship program designed specifically to help our student readers complete their studies leading to a baccalaureate degree.
To apply for this scholarship, students must meet all four of the following criteria:
In the past, Minority Nurse awarded two $1,000 scholarships and two $500 scholarships. Updated award information will be available soon.
Please read carefully. Applications that do not include the required documentation will be disqualified.
Complete and return this form along with all four of the following documents:
Note to Faculty: Nursing faculty members may nominate students and complete the form, provided that all required documentation is included with the application.
