Central Florida Regional Hospital Nursing Scholarship

The Central Florida Regional Hospital Nursing Scholarship was established to assist nursing students with educational expenses and to help meet the critical need for registered nurses in the local community.

Eligibility:

• The scholarship is open to currently-enrolled A.S. degree nursing students.
• Full-time first- and second-year nursing students may apply.

Amount:

$2,500

Application Process:

• Submit a letter to the Scholarship Committee of the Associate Degree Nursing Program that addresses your interest in the scholarship, goals, financial need and grade point average.
• Submit two letters of reference.
• Submit a current copy of your transcript.

Criteria for Selection:

• Clinical competency and academic performance
• Professionalism
• Willingness to sign an agreement to work for Central Florida Regional Hospital for one year upon graduation
• GPA (should be 2.5 or higher)
• Telephone interview (to be arranged by hospital representative)
