Practical Nursing

The Practical Nursing Certificate Program

Practical NursesSeminole State College's Practical Nursing Certificate Program: 

  • Starts in January each year. 
  • Is a comprehensive, 12-month limited-access program.
  • Provides classroom and clinical experiences in all areas of nursing.
  • Teaches students the specialized skills they need to become a successful nurse.

Once you have met the program requirements, you are eligible to apply to the Florida State Board of Nursing to sit for the licensing exam for practical nursing (LPN).
