Now that the Fall Term is underway, you may have questions about student services and where to find basic information. So we prepared this guide to help you make a smart start at Seminole State.
Blue & Gold Card
The Blue & Gold Card is Seminole State's student ID. It not only serves as identification but also provides access to services on campus. You need your Blue & Gold Card to purchase books, borrow library materials, receive a parking decal and more. You'll also have 24/7 access to your Blue & Gold Card account online. Visit Card Services on any campus to receive your card.
Purchase textbooks, new Seminole State gear and more. For your convenience, the campus bookstores will have extended hours during the first week of classes. Check the bookstore website for more details.
Print a map before you arrive and familiarize yourself with it. If you can’t find your class when you arrive, don’t be afraid to ask for help. Remember, other students may be looking for their classes, too. Faculty and staff will be happy to point the way.
To view or print your class schedule, log in to MySeminoleState, the student portal, and click on Student Center. Computers are available on each campus to print your schedules.
Seminole State Alert is the online go-to source for information in an immediate life-threatening or serious situation involving safety on any Seminole State campus. Students also should know the number to the College's Emergency Hotline: 407.708.2290. We suggest you add it to your contacts, so you'll have access to emergency information when you're not near a computer.
eServices assists students with several aspects of the academic experience, including admissions, advising and registration. With eServices, advising appointments are available via phone or Skype and can be scheduled through the eAdvising Calendar. In addition to advising, eServices offers eForms, which allows students to save time by submitting some forms electronically.
Review the Fall Term calendar, and pay attention to deadlines, holidays and other important dates.
Our financial aid website has been redesigned to help you find information more easily. Get the latest information on tuition, fees, grants, loans and scholarships. Visit the Financial Aid website to learn about the Seminole State OneCard and to find answers to frequently asked questions about financial aid.
Library services are available at all four Seminole State campuses. Of course you can check out books, but Kindles and Nook eReaders also are available. Plus, you can access a wide range of electronic and print research materials to help you with your studies. Check the Library home page for hours.
Nature's Table Cafe
If you need a little brain food between classes, fuel up at Nature's Table Cafe, which has locations on each of the College's four campuses.
Students must have a permit to park on campus. Present your Blue & Gold Card and your license plate number at any Cashiers Office to obtain a free parking decal. Students must park in designated student parking lots, which have white-lined parking spaces and are indicated by gray markings on the campus maps. Students who violate campus parking rules may be fined and/or have their cars towed, so make sure you're aware of the College's parking and traffic regulations.
Safety and Security
The safety of our students, faculty, staff and visitors is a top priority at Seminole State. The Safety and Security Department has offices on each campus, and officers are trained to assist in emergency situations on campus. Visit the Safety and Security website to find emergency phone numbers, tips for staying safe on campus, campus security policies and other important safety information.

Need to print an essay or copy handouts for a class presentation? There's a Print Shop location on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus for students. The Student Copy & Print Center in building F, room 100, offers self-service copiers and network printers. You can pay for copies and printing with your Blue & Gold Card.
