Seminole State College of Florida is closely monitoring Tropical Storm Chantal.
The College is open regular hours this week. According to the National Hurricane Center's Wednesday morning forecast, the system is expected to be weakening by wind shear and its interaction with land while crossing over Hispaniola and Cuba. Locally heavy rain is possible in Central Florida beginning on Friday morning.
Please monitor weather reports as well as Seminole State's website or Emergency Hotline at 407.708.2290 for updated emergency information.
