Applications are being accepted for $5,000 scholarships from the Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund of Metro Orlando. Typically, the organization awards about 20 scholarships to college students around Central Florida.

All applications must be completed online at the Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund's application page. Applicants also may be required to provide transcripts, financial aid statements and letters of recommendation via mail. Applications and all supplemental materials must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, May 31.
The Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund is the largest nonprofit organization in Central Florida dedicated to providing scholarships to Hispanic students who are pursuing a college or university degree. Last year, two Seminole State students were awarded scholarships.
