Seminole State College of Florida is looking for students to represent the College in upcoming TV commercials.
Seminole State’s College Relations and Marketing Department will hold a casting call on Thursday, Jan. 10, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in room 1205 of the Partnership Center. Directors will need about 20 students to “star” in Seminole State’s next round of TV commercials and about 22 extras.
You can show up any time during the specified hours. It will take about 15 minutes of your time, but depending on the turnout, your wait may be longer. You’ll complete a brief model release form and have your photo taken.
Filming of the commercials will take place on Feb. 8-9, so you must be available to participate on those dates.
For the commercials, Seminole State is looking for a diverse group of students representing all ages. These are nonspeaking roles. Students selected as featured talent will receive a $50 gas card at the end of the filming; students selected as extras will receive a $25 gas card at the end of the filming.
Students also may be selected to appear in other advertisements, promotional materials, billboards and on the website.
