Raider softball to host inaugural alumni game

Seminole State softball is inviting its former athletes back to campus for an alumni game and celebration.

The inaugural Raider Softball Alumni Game will be played on Saturday, Nov. 13, at Raider Softball Field on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus. Pre-game warm-up starts at noon, and the seven-inning scrimmage begins at 1 p.m. The event is free for participants and spectators.

An informal social gathering will follow the game at the Garage Bar at Route 46 starting at 7 p.m. Admission is free, but attendees must purchase their own food and beverage.

The alumni celebration concludes on Sunday, Nov. 14, with the Raider Run 5K, a family-friendly run/walk around the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus. All pre-registered participants will receive a race T-shirt, and proceeds from the event will benefit Seminole State athletic scholarships. More information, including registration instructions and pricing, are available on the Raider Run 5K Web page.

If you have any questions, please contact Seminole State's Athletics Office at 407.708.2090.
