Seminole State Career Fair set for Nov. 12

Nearly 50 potential employers will be at Seminole State's Career Fair to discuss employment opportunities with students and other job seekers.

Freshen up your resume for Seminole State College of Florida’s Career Fair. Nearly 50 potential employers will be present at the event taking place on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus (building L breezeway) on Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The College’s Career Development Center is hosting the Career Fair for students and other job seekers to find employment and internship opportunities and explore potential career paths.

The following are among the employers expected to attend the event:

  • TD Bank
  • Raleigh Design
  • Hertz
  • Hilton Grand Vacation
  • SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment
  • Marketing Consultants of Orlando
  • Seminole County Sheriff’s Office
  • Wharton-Smith, Inc.
  • FedEx Ground
  • Feeding Children Everywhere

Representatives also will be in attendance from several other hotels, charities, insurance companies, county offices and more.

The Career Fair coincides with National Career Development Month and is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring several copies of their résumé.
