Raiders sign two top golf recruits

Seminole State's women's golf team is already positioning itself for a successful 2010-11 season. The team, which will lose four sophomores at the end of the year, is reloading its roster with two standout recruits:

  • Caitlin Winters, a senior at Lake Mary High School and the second-highest-ranked golfer on the Rams' 2010 state-champion squad
  • Kiley Mettler, a senior at Izard County High School in Brockville, Ark., and a four-time All-State athlete

The Raiders will compete in their final tournament of the season, the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Bash at the Beach in Daytona Beach, April 9-11, before vying for a spot at the NJCAA national competition. For more information, visit the Seminole State women's golf home page.
