Women's Golf Learning Day raises $3,000

LPGA instructors Cheryl Anderson (foreground) and Cindy McCallister demonstrate proper putting techniques for participants.

Female golfers of all skill levels improved their game during Seminole State's Women's Golf Learning Day on Monday, Feb. 1.

The half-day clinic, held at Timacuan Golf and Country Club, gave players hands-on training from LPGA instructors and the Seminole State Raider women's golf team.

Participants rotated through a series of stations that focused on putting, driving, chipping and other fundamental techniques.

The event, which drew more than 30 women, raised $3,000 for the Raider women's golf team and the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Club.
