Carey Carbeck Fowler, RHIA, CCS

Carey Carbeck Fowler has 15 years of IT experience, working as a business systems analyst in the telecommunications industry, medical coding and information systems management, supporting the HIM portion of the electronic medical record.

Fowler earned her Bachelor's Degree in business management from Nova University in 1990 and later obtained her ATD in medical coding from Seminole State College and became a Certified Coding Specialist. She then graduated from the University of Central Florida with another bachelor's degree in health information management and became a registered health information administrator.

Fowler is also a member of American Health Information Management Association, as well as the Central Florida Health Information Management Association.
