Vanetta Grier Felix completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in mathematics at Florida State University. She taught high school for 10 years. In pursuit of her career goal, she began teaching as an adjunct instructor at Seminole State in a 2000. In fall 2003, she became a full-time professor at Seminole State. Professor Felix has a passion for teaching and helping others. In addition to teaching, she is also a licensed cosmetologist. She also enjoys planning parties; sewing and arts and crafts; and she enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons. Felix is known for her serious but passionate personality.
