Dr. Heather Edwards received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and M.Ed in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of Florida and proceeded to become a high school mathematics teacher. After two years of teaching high school, she chose to further her mathematics background, receiving an M.S. in Mathematical Sciences and a Ph.D. in Mathematics. While a graduate student in mathematics, she taught part-time at Seminole State, Valencia Community College and the University of Central Florida. With her graduate studies behind her, Dr. Edwards is very happy to be here at Seminole State as a full-time professor.
