Growing up in Pittsburgh, Pa., Carol Perezluha received her Bachelor of Science in Math from the University of Pittsburgh in 1979. She received her Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida in 1987.

She worked for AT&T for 10 years as a systems analyst, project manager and computer programmer. She has enjoyed teaching math in college since 1996 and is also a private math tutor. Carol spends her free time with her family, plays the piano and flute, and enjoys scuba-diving, backpacking and bicycling.
