Academic Computing and Technology Support

Seminole State's Computing and Telecommunication Services (CTS) Department operates an open computer lab in the library.

The CTS lab is equipped with 56 computers, networked printing and software that supports the College's programs. A lab assistant is available during regular operating hours to help answer questions about assignments and equipment use.

The library also has 24 computers in the reference section, which are intended for Internet research, LINCC online database access and essential curriculum-related communication with instructors. These computers should not be used for recreational purposes like Web browsing, chatting, playing games or composing/reading personal e-mail messages.

The library staff is available to help students access databases and online catalogs; conduct Web-based research; and retrieve login, password and PIN information.

Computer lab policies may differ from those governing the rest of the library. Read the College's computer access regulations for more information.
