Librarian Liaisons

All College departments and programs have an assigned librarian liaison. If you need research assistance, would like assistance with class assignment development or would like to make recommendations for materials to be added to the library collection in a specific area, please use the chart below to contact the appropriate liaison. Liaisons are also available to attend department meetings to provide updates on library services and resources, make presentations on the use of databases and the online catalog/PRIMO Discovery Tool, and discuss other topics of interest to faculty.

If you are unsure to whom to direct your question or request, feel free to contact any of the liaisons below. Seminole State's librarians work together to ensure that all inquiries are addressed.

Assistance in the use of library resources as well as online catalog and database access
One-on-one consultations for research and special projects
Mediated literature searching
Notification of new materials and resources tailored to faculty members' subject areas
Customized instruction for individual students or seminar groups based on faculty recommendations
Preparation of selected reading lists on specific topics
Private refresher sessions on the use of subscription databases, the online catalog and other electronic tools
Group demonstrations and tutorials for departmental support staff
Library presence at departmental meetings as well as visits to offices and seminar rooms upon request
