Library Instruction Requirements:
Faculty members should plan to attend the instructional session with their students. Students retain more from a library instruction when their instructor is engaged in the process, and knowledge of how to use the library can be reinforced when research is necessary to complete an assignment.
All students must be able to log into the LINCCWeb Online Catalog and databases. It is the faculty member's responsibility to ensure that all students have their Seminole State Blue & Gold Card with them in order to access databases, check out materials, and print/photocopy. This will allow students to participate in the hands-on learning portion of the instruction session.
Library instruction is tailored for individual instructors and current course assignments. Concepts and strategies that are fundamental to information literacy standards (ACRL) will be included.Instruction Options (choose as many as needed):
