Research assistance is available to Seminole State College students, faculty and staff who wish to receive one-on-one help with their research questions.

Personalized Research Assistance

ServiceWhere to Find It
Walk-up Service Information Services desk, all campuses. During all library hours, there will be a librarian on duty to assist you with your research question. Feel free to just stop by!
Phone Call the library at 407.708.2305. You may call our Information Services desk during our regular library hours for research assistance over the phone.
Email You can email the library at library@seminolestate.edu. Library email is monitored during our normal operating hours. Responses should be expected within 24 hours, though you will usually receive a response much sooner.

You may also fill out a brief email form if you prefer.
Library Chat Visit the library website and use the "Click here to chat" link in the left-hand column. Whenever possible, our librarians and library staff are available to answer your research questions virtually through our Library Chat.
Research Consultation Schedule a research consultation using our request form. Research consultations can be scheduled to meet with a librarian for an extended period of time if you have in-depth questions or require detailed research instruction. Please give at least two days' advanced notice. No weekend hours are currently available.
