LIS 2004: Introduction to Internet Research

LIS 2004: Introduction to Internet Research familiarizes students with the concept of using the Internet as an information retrieval tool, and teaches them strategies for locating and analyzing information. This one-credit course is designed to help students develop the basic information literacy skills they need to complete college course work, conduct general research and achieve lifelong learning in an information-centered society.

LIS 2004 is offered entirely online. Resources can be found on the Distance Learning Web page that will help students succeed in this type of course format.

The course instructor is Librarian Ross Martin. He may be reached via e-mail or by calling 407.708.4415. He may also contact him at the Heathrow Campus library.
