ID Card

Seminole State ID CardThe Blue & Gold Card, your Seminole State ID card, also serves as your library card. To receive an ID card you must: 

  • Be an enrolled student or current or eligible retired employee of Seminole State College of Florida.
  • Present a government-issued identification, such as a driver's license, passport, state of Florida identification card or military ID to any Blue & Gold Card Services campus location

ID cards can be obtained from any Seminole State campus. Visit the Card Services website for office hours and locations. Distance Learning students can request an ID card through the mail. Visit the Blue & Gold Card FAQs page for more information.

Borrower ID and PIN

Your MySeminoleState login name is needed to access the library catalog and databases, check out books and e-books, and make hold requests in the online catalog.

A PIN is also required to make hold requests and search the LINCCWeb online database. Your PIN is usually the last four digits of your Social Security number. In some cases, however, your PIN may be the last four digits of your Seminole State student ID number.

Card Activation

Your Blue & Gold Card is automatically activated for library use. If you experience any difficulty using your card, please visit the Information Services Desk at any campus library, or call 407.708.2618. ID cards will remain activated for library use throughout the duration of your term of enrollment or the duration of your employment.

Card Uses

Your Seminole State ID Card can be used to:

  • Borrow library materials
  • Access databases
  • Access e-books
  • Place hold requests and perform other online catalog functions
  • Print and photocopy library materials
  • Request materials from other campuses and colleges (Interlibrary Loan)
