At Seminole State, Schau is in charge of coordinating serials, staff schedules and library instructions. He also serves as coordinator of the Ask a Librarian service and assumes collection development responsibilities for the American history, law, language and literature, science and technology areas. Schau has written articles for domestic and international library science journals as well as a local law school's law review. He also has written video criticisms for Library Journal and Electronic Media Reviews Online (EMRO). Schau graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies. He earned his Master of Library Science degree from the University of South Florida in 1988. Prior to working in libraries, Schau was a Behavior Specialist who worked with special-needs children and the developmentally challenged. Contact Mike Schau
