Librarian Liaisons

Seminole State's librarian liaison program connects members of the library faculty with academic departments and their faculty. Librarian liaisons have a number of responsibilities, including:

  • Making departmental faculty aware of the library's services and collections
  • Coordinating the selection and ordering of books, periodicals, and other materials and information services in a department's discipline or subject area
  • Facilitating and promoting use of the library's instructional program by departmental faculty
  • Encouraging communication with department faculty and students
