PLA 2610 - Real Property

Real Property offers an in-depth exploration of the law related to land and the things that are permanently attached to it. It is a highly detailed and substantive course, and is a core requirement in the Legal Studies Program.

In this course, students will study real property law from both the theoretical and the practical, skill-development points of view. They will learn to create tailor-made contracts for the sale of real property as well as the documents needed to close a real estate transaction.

Real Property is offered only during the Fall Term. Day classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-1:45 p.m., and evening classes will be held on Wednesdays from 6-8:45 p.m. Both sections are scheduled on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus.

In terms of demand, Real Property is an intermediate-level class. It has no prerequisites and does not serve as a prerequisite for any other Legal Studies course.
