About Us

Seminole State College's Legal Studies program, part of the Center for Business, Management and Entrepreneurship, is ABA-approved and prepares students to enter the work force as either a paralegal or legal assistant in as few as five semesters.

Paralegals and legal assistants work closely with attorneys and perform a variety of duties, including interviewing clients and witnesses; conducting legal research; drafting documents; preparing trial notebooks and exhibits; and assisting at trials and hearings.
