International Studies

Seminole State College is committed to global and multicultural education. Through its curricula, international activities and travel study programs, Seminole State hopes to increase students' awareness and active participation in social, cultural, global and environmental matters, so Seminole State graduates will be responsible well-informed global citizens.

Study Abroad

Seminole State offers students the chance to travel to several different locations around the globe and earn credit while having fun. Students have traveled to such locations as Austria, Germany, China, Mexico, Costa Rica and the British Isles.

Faculty

Seminole State faculty members have opportunities to study abroad through the help of the SCC Foundation and Endowed Teaching Chairs. Professors have studied in locations such as Austria, Mexico and China. Seminole State believes that sending faculty members abroad to learn of other cultures will certainly have a positive impact on its students.

International Activities

International and multicultural perspectives are incorporated in the academic curriculum and in international activities on campus. Through activities, such as the International Book Club and the Multicultural Fair, students and members of Seminole State's faculty become aware of different cultures.
