Bachelor of Applied Science, Interior Design Seminole State College is entering a new era with its Bachelor of Applied Science degree (B.A.S.) in Interior Design, marking Central Florida's first public four-year interior design program and the College's first four-year degree. Changes in the interior design industry have created an increased demand for a baccalaureate degree that will provide a pathway to licensure. The new bachelor's degree helps Central Florida meet this demand, and has received approval from the state Board of Architecture and Interior Design. By offering a four-year degree, Seminole State provides students with a program that is locally accessible and affordable. Flexible classes are offered to accommodate working professionals. - Program Plan: Upon completion of the B.A.S. degree and two years of work experience, graduates are eligible to take the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ) exam for state licensure.
