Online Training and Education for EmployeesSeminole State offers more than 100 online training and education courses as an employee benefit and encourages all employees to continually enhance their knowledge and skills. These courses are available from any PC with Internet access. Dell Learning System (DLS) Online CoursesThe Dell Learning System (DLS) is a Web-based software application that offers more than 100 online training and education courses to all Seminole State employees. Each course is made up of one or more self-directed and self-paced lessons/levels.
Learning Connection Lunch & Learn Online ProgramsSeminole State's Learning Connection sponsors live Lunch & Learn education programs for all employees. Many of these programs have been video recorded and are available via the ANGEL system.
How do I get professional development credit for these online courses and programs?To receive professional development credit, you must submit a request for credit through the TIM system after completing an online course. To request credit: Access the TIM system. Under Human Resources, select "Request Professional Development Credit." When requesting credit for online DLS courses, each lesson/level awards 2.5 hours of professional development. When requesting credit for online Lunch & Learn programs, each Lunch & Learn module awards one hour of professional development.
