|Seminole State College is seeking adjunct clinical lab instructors with a personal and professional commitment to student learning. THIS IS A POOL POSITION. This is a temporary part-time adjunct clinical lab instructor teaching position. Applications for adjunct clinical lab instructor positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed when openings become available. Applications remain active for one year from the date received. Associate Dean will review applications only when positions become available.
Teaching strategies will be incorporated to foster student learning, success and retention. Will work with other faculty in support of curricula improvement as appropriate to promote students' success and mastery of course and program competencies. The person in this position will plan, organize and teach classes as assigned. Flexible hours and days, assigned campus location may vary due to enrollment.
Required qualifications: Associates degree in EMS from a regionally accredited institution, or related healthcare field such as:
• Public Safety
• Healthcare Admin
• Health Science
• Public Admin
• Public Health
• Current State of Florida Paramedic certification or Registered Nurse, or other appropriate healthcare clinical professional license. (Eg. EMT, or PA)
• At least 4 years of EMS provider experience in the pre-hospital/critical care setting, or 6 years experience in a inter-facility transport or hospital setting.
A Bachelor of Science degree in EMS or related field and teaching experience is desired.

|Conditions of Employment|
|Finalists and individuals recommended for employment at Seminole State College may be subject to background investigations and fingerprinting in compliance with Florida Statute 1001.64; and Seminole State College Policy 1.020; 2.020.
