It is often helpful to provide the applicant with written information about the on-site interview process. The amount and type of information will vary according to the position. Following is a sample of an information piece sent to applicants with a letter confirming the on-site interview appointment.

On-site Writing Assignment

You will be asked to participate in an on-site exercise prior to your interview. Your response may be handwritten or typed on a computer using WordPerfect software (DOS version and Windows version will be available). The exercise will last approximately.

Interviews

Your interview will be conducted at (location) and will last approximately . Please arrive at to allow time for the writing sample. Members of the search committee are Jane Green (Chair), Bob Jones, Samuel Taylor, Rita Gonzalez and Mona Habib.

Airport

Orlando International Airport serves the Seminole State College area.

Ground Transportation

All major rental agencies are located at the Orlando International Airport. Enclosed are several local area maps.

Hotels

There are many hotels in the Sanford/Lake Mary area. Information on hotel accommodations is available on their specific websites.

Parking

Visitor parking is available in front of the Weldon Administration Building ( Building A) on the main campus.
