The Employee Assistance Program, administered by LifeWorks is available to help regular full-time and regular part-time employees and their household members resolve personal and work problems. The College recognizes that at times employees and their household members need assistance in resolving personal problems, as these problems can interfere with personal well-being and work performance. To help employees, the College provides this Employee Assistance Program. Through LifeWorks, employees are provided with experienced, professional counselors who help with virtually all types of personal problems, such as:

  • Stress at home
  • Relationships
  • Parenting questions
  • Grief
  • Depression and Anxiety
  • Managing debt
  • Coping with change

The EAP is a free service and available 24/7/365. It is separate from your health insurance and it does not cost you anything to use it. 

The EAP is a confidential service. No information, including your name, is released without your written permission. Your employer will not know if you use this program. 

The EAP is available to the employee and to immediate family members that live in your household.

Financial Counselors

Financial wellbeing is now understood to be as important as physical and mental wellbeing. It’s about more than having money in the bank. Financial wellbeing means feeling in control of your finances, being able to handle a financial setback, and being on track to achieve your financial and life goals (including having a plan for retirement).

You have access to financial counselors offering support on a variety of issues:

  • Budgeting and overall money management
  • Credit card debt & debt management options
  • Financial emergency options
  • Foreclosure and other housing issues
  • Basic mortgage questions including buying versus renting
  • Identity theft
  • Financial calculators to figure out how large a mortgage you need etc.
