Short-Term, Long-Term Disability Options
Employees may choose short-term and/or long-term disability income protection insurance. Premiums vary depending upon the employee's salary and are payroll deducted. The following disability income protection insurance options are offered by Seminole State through the UNUM Life Insurance Company.

| Benefit Duration |
Your duration of benefits is based on your age when the disability occurs. If your disability occurs before age 60, benefits will be payable until age 65. If your disability occurs at or after age 60, benefits would be paid according to a benefit duration schedule. |
