What do you like the most about living in the USA? Since moving to the United States I have learned a lot, but what I value the most is having the freedom to express myself in any way I choose.

Why did you choose Seminole State? When I planned to come to the United States, I was looking for a college where, in addition to not being expensive, I could find useful courses that would help me prepare for my career.

How would you describe your educational experience at Seminole State? Seminole State is known for its small class sizes, which makes it easy to interact with professors. This is an important tool for achieving goals throughout college.

What are you planning to accomplish while you are in the USA and at Seminole State? I am trying to take advantage of everything Seminole State offers! I am learning everything I can about industrial design by taking some graphic design classes, as well as engineering program classes. Combined, these are helping mold my vision of what design can be. In Venezuela, it would be hard to combine all of these things.

What are your favorite activities and hobbies? I really love sports. I have been playing baseball since I was three years old. I am also into cycling, both road and mountain. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, attending professional sporting events and Latin dancing.

How has your experience at Seminole State impacted your life? Being an international student has shown me the differences between my country and all the others in the world. I have learned so much about American culture and have enjoyed being a "typical college student."

Why would you recommend Seminole State to another international student? International students receive a lot of attention at Seminole State; faculty and staff are very helpful and try to make you feel comfortable. Seminole State is such an affordable, excellent school and offers many opportunities for students to be successful.
