You have several options for applying to Seminole State College:
2. Verify Your Residency Status
Please download and print a Florida Residency Affidavit. The Florida Residency Affidavit is part of the application; it determines your eligibility for in-state tuition rates. Proper documentation must be completed and submitted before you can register for classes. The last day to submit this documentation is always the day before each term begins. This deadline is strictly observed.

Please wait 48 hours after creating your MySCC account to view the online orientation.

4. Complete an Entrance Exam
You must complete the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) or the Computerized Placement Test (CPT) before beginning most career and technical certificate programs at Seminole State. The TABE and CPT exams are offered on a walk-in basis at the Assessment and Testing Center on the Sanford/Lake Mary, Oviedo and Altamonte Springs campuses. For testing hours, study guides and practice exams, visit the Assessment and Testing Center online or call 407.708.2020.

If you have already taken the TABE or CPT, an official copy of your scores must be on file in the Seminole State Records Office before your advising appointment.

Please check with an Admissions Office representative to verify your program's requirements.
