How to enroll

You have several options for applying to Seminole State College:

• Apply online.
• Download and print the Seminole State Application for Admission.
• Obtain a printed application from any Seminole State campus Admissions Office.
• Request an application by calling 407.708.2050.

Please complete and submit a Florida Residency Affidavit as soon as possible. The Florida Residency Affidavit determines your eligibility for in-state tuition rates and is a very important part of the application process. Residency documents must be completed and submitted before you can proceed with the Steps to Enroll.

Once your residency has been approved and you have a student ID number, visit MySeminoleState online, and click "Create New Student Account" in the Login box. Fill in the blank fields, and click "Save." If you have questions, visit the MySeminoleState Help page or call 407.708.2050.

As a non-degree-seeking student, you must submit your official transcript for your highest degree completed before you are eligible to register for classes. Official transcripts must be sent to the Seminole State Records Office:

Orientation is mandatory for all non-degree-seeking students. During orientation, you will learn about College policies and procedures as well as campus activities. Click here to complete the online orientation. For more information, call 407.708.2050.

Please note: You cannot view the online orientation until you have turned in your residency affidavit and documents and created your MySeminoleState account.

As a non-degree-seeking student, you can register in person at any Seminole State campus or online through MySeminoleState during Open Enrollment. Check the Academic Calendar for dates and deadlines. Students are responsible for their own advising and must meet all prerequisites and corequisites for courses in which they intend to enroll.

Non-degree-seeking students with high school diplomas or GEDs:

• May enroll in any college-level course except English or Mathematics or courses requiring English or Mathematics corequisites and/or prerequisites.
• Are allowed up to 11 credits under non-degree-seeking status.

Non-degree-seeking students with associate degrees may take associate-level classes.

Non-degree-seeking students with bachelor’s degrees may take bachelor's level classes or lower.

Determining the transferability of credits earned at Seminole State as a non-degree-seeking student toward a degree program at another institution is the sole responsibility of the student.

To pay for your classes, log in to your MySeminoleState Student Center to determine your fees and payment due date. You can pay your tuition and fees at any campus Cashiers/Business Office or online through MySeminoleState. Accepted forms of payment are: cash, debit cards, personal checks, American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.
