How to enroll

You have several options for applying to Seminole State College:

• Obtain a printed application in Student Services on any campus

Please complete and submit a Florida Residency Affidavit as soon as possible. The Florida Residency Affidavit determines your eligibility for in-state tuition rates and is a  important part of the application process. Residency documents must be completed and submitted before you can proceed with the Steps to Enroll.

Official transcripts from your high school and any colleges you have attended must be sent to:

Official transcripts must be received by the bachelor's degree application deadline. Acceptance into one of the bachelor’s degree programs cannot be determined until your transcripts have been received. Financial aid will be delayed until your transcripts or GED test scores are on file. If all your transcripts are not received by the end of your first term, you will not be able to register for subsequent terms at Seminole State.

If you have not already applied for financial aid, do so immediately at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Seminole State’s FAFSA code is 001520. It typically takes four to six weeks to determine your eligibility. Additional information may be requested if you are chosen for verification.”

Once your residency has been approved and you have a student id number, visit MySeminoleState, and click "Create New Student Account." If you have questions, visit the MySeminoleState Help Page or call 407.708.2050.

Orientation is mandatory for all bachelor's degree students. During orientation, you will learn about College policies and procedures as well as campus activities. Click here to complete the online orientation. For more information, call 407.708.2050.

Please note: You cannot view the online orientation until you have created your MySeminoleState account (see step 4).

After completing your online orientation, schedule an appointment. This session will provide vital information about the College’s bachelor’s degree programs and is mandatory to enroll in classes. After the session, you will meet one-on-one with an advisor to register for courses. Please bring your evaluated, unofficial Seminole State transcript or transcripts from all previous colleges attended.

You will register for classes during your advising appointment.

If you are receiving financial aid, you must accept or decline your award and electronically sign a fee deferment. To do so, log in to MySeminoleState and select "Accept Aid and Defer Payment." Click here for detailed instructions. Students accepting loans for the first time must sign a master promissory note and complete loan entrance counseling, also located in MySeminoleState. If you are paying for your classes, check your MySeminoleState Student Center to determine your fees and payment due date. You can pay at any campus Cashiers/Business Office or online with MySeminoleState. Accepted forms of payment are: cash, debit cards, personal checks, American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.

Live Mail is the College’s official email system. Approximately one day after you create your MySeminoleState account, your Live Mail account will become active. Official communications from the College will only be sent to your Live Mail account. Click here for instructions to activate your account.
