Academic Scholarships

Academic scholarships are awarded based on academic achievements or participation in academic programs.

Available Scholarships

ASC Tutor Total Academic Achievement Scholarship
  • Requires a 3.0 GPA
  • Must be an ASC tutor for one full semester and have recommendations from two tutees
  • Application essay must discuss what being a tutor has meant to you or your goals upon completing your degree
  • Return application to: Academic Success Center
Dorothy Morrison Scholarship in British Literature and Humanities
  • Requires a 3.5 GPA
  • For English majors only
  • Must be a full-time student
  • Must be a Seminole County resident and have two letters of recommendation from high school English teachers
  • Application essay must explain your interest in majoring in English
  • Return application to: English Department
FSEA Environmental Award
  • Requires a 3.0 GPA
  • Must be enrolled in environmental or physical science classes
  • Return application to: Physical Science Department
Honors Scholarship
  • Requires a 3.2 GPA
  • Must have earned an SAT score of at least 1000 or an ACT score of at least 22
  • Must be accepted into the Honors Program at Seminole State
  • Recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA in all honors courses
  • Return application to: Honors Department
Huntington Foundation, Inc. Scholarship
  • Requires a 2.0 GPA
  • Must be a student in the Graphic Design or Web Design Program
  • Return application to: Digital Media Department
One Step for Success Scholarship
  • Requires a 2.0 GPA
  • Must be enrolled in basic, intermediate or college algebra
  • Return application to: Mathematics Department
Science Merit Diploma Scholarship
  • Requires a 3.0 GPA
  • Must be enrolled in the Science Merit Program
  • Return application to: Physical Science Department
