High School Grad Scholarships

Adult High School/GED Program Scholarships

Adult High School/GED Program scholarships are awarded to students who are enrolled in or have graduated from Seminole State's Adult High School or ABE/GED Program.

Available Scholarships

Adult Education Scholarship
  • Requires a 2.0 GPA
  • Must be a single parent who is attending or graduating from Seminole State's Adult High School
  • Scholarship covers child care expenses
  • Award Amount: Varies with need
Adult High School Scholarship
  • Requires a 2.0 GPA
  • Must be a graduate of the Adult High School and planning to return to Seminole State for higher education
  • Award Amount: $200 for one semester; pays for tuition and fees
Adult High School Transitional Scholarship
  • Requires a 2.0 GPA
  • Must be a graduate of the Adult High School and planning to return to Seminole State for higher education
  • Award Amount: $500 for two semesters; pays for tuition and fees
Bertha B. Valentine Memorial Scholarship
  • Requires a GED score of 2,800
  • Must be a graduate of Seminole State's GED Program and planning to return to the College for higher education
  • Award Amount: $375 for two semesters; pays for tuition and fees
GED Success Scholarship
  • Requires a GED score of 2,800
  • Must be returning to Seminole State for higher education
  • Award Amount: $500 for two semesters
Herman and Nana Klein Scholarship
  • Requires a 2.5 GPA
  • Must be a graduate of Seminole State's Adult High School and returning to the College for higher education
  • Award Amount: Up to $1,000 for two semesters; pays for tuition and fees
Selma M. Caisse Memorial GED Scholarship
  • Requires a GED score of 2,800 and a GED diploma
  • Must be returning to Seminole State for higher education
  • Award Amount: $375 for two semesters; pays for tuition and fees
Seminole County Sheriff's Office Good Student Scholarship
  • Requires a 2.5 GPA
  • Must have no felony convictions
  • Cannot be used in conjunction with another scholarship
  • Must be a graduate of Seminole State's Adult High School and returning to the College for higher education
  • Award Amount: $750 for two semesters; pays for books, tuition and fees

How to Apply

To apply for an Adult High School/GED Program scholarship, complete the Seminole State Scholarship Application.

In order to receive scholarship consideration, you must attach an essay and two letters of recommendation to your application. Incomplete applications will not be evaluated.
