Mission

The mission of the Seminole Community College Foundation, Inc. Grant Development and Management Team is to enhance the quality of Seminole State College's operations and academic programs by providing support to administrative and academic units in a broad range of grant development activities. This support includes coordinating all grants planning and development to the benefit of the College. Funding opportunities will be congruent with the College's strategic goals and priorities, addressing educational programming and service delivery.

Vision

The Grant Team's vision is to become one of the premier operations in the state. The key areas of success are matching funding opportunities to the College's mission and strategic initiatives and the development of grant teams who collaborate effectively throughout the grant process.

Overarching Goals

Specific goals will be measured through the identification of key indicators encompassed in the planning, facilitation and monitoring processes. Goals are in line with Seminole State's strategic priorities (i.e. capacity, quality, community, etc.)

  • Goal 1: Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Goal 2: Increase grant funding to enhance student learning.
  • Goal 3: Enhance faculty and administrators' grant development expertise.
  • Goal 4: Enhance efficiency and effectiveness of grant development and management processes.
  • Goal 5: Increase grant development and management awareness across the College.
