 Chairman's Award
Delk, a computer programming professor, has been a member of the Seminole State faculty for nearly 30 years and served as the Faculty Senate representative to the Foundation Board of Directors from 2003-08. She also spent several years on the Foundation's Constituent Giving/Leadership Giving Committee. Delk is a founding member of the Presidents' Club and sits on the Presidents' Club Advisory Council. She is heavily involved with the annual Dream Gala and was on the planning committee for the College's first Women's Golf Day. The Foundation Chairman's Award was established in 2006 and is presented annually to an extraordinary SCC Foundation board member who supports the College with generous gifts of their time, talent and treasure. In December, the Chair and Vice Chair of the SCC Foundation Board of Directors presented Dr. Kathryn K. Delk with the 2008 Chairman's Award for her ongoing contributions to the College and the Foundation.|
