Curriculum and Admission Requirements
For entry into Seminole State's Fire Science Program, students must:
Have a high school diploma or GED.- Be at least 18 years old.
- Complete the College Placement Test (CPT).
- Complete the Seminole State application process.
- Complete a physical examination from a licensed physician, certifying their ability to participate in continuous strenuous physical activity.

Students who have completed the firefighters' minimum standards or EMT Program at Seminole State may be awarded physical education credit for training and experience. Up to three semester hours of non-duplicated credits may be awarded.
