Seminole State College’s Associate in Science (A.S.) Fire Science Technology Program provides you with the education and training to move up the career ladder.
This two-year program, delivered by professors with years of professional firefighting experience, is offered online and in the classroom setting.
Graduates are prepared for supervisory and leadership positions with public fire departments, insurance companies, industrial firms, governmental agencies, educational organizations and fire protection manufacturing and research groups. Certified Florida firefighters also may qualify for supplemental compensation.

If you’re a graduate of Seminole State’s Firefighting Certificate Program or have attended additional fire service training from an approved Florida Bureau of Fire Standards and Training center, you can receive credit hours toward you’re A.S. degree.
