Apparatus and Pump Operator

To be certified as a fire service apparatus and pump operator in the State of Florida, students must:

• Successfully complete 80 hours of basic certification training for apparatus and pump operators or have received equivalent training in another state.
• Pass a state-written exam.

When submitting your application, be sure to include the required processing fee. Refer to the application and fee instructions (DI4-1019) for further information.

• Download the Pump Operator Application for all necessary forms.
• Review the testing schedule for test dates, locations and application deadlines.
