Tuesday Voices Poetry Reading Series

Tuesday Voices is an open reading of original poetry featuring selected poets. Sponsored by the SCC English Department and the Gwendolyn Brooks Writers' Association of Florida Inc., the series provides a forum for poets — beginning and accomplished — to gather with lovers of poetry to share their works. The readings are free and open to the public, and everyone in attendance is invited to read an original poem or a favorite poem by another author.

Each event starts at 7 p.m. in the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus Multipurpose Room (building C). The dates for the 2009-10 season are:

  • Sept. 22, 2009
  • Oct. 27, 2009
  • Nov. 17, 2009
  • Jan. 26, 2010
  • Feb. 23, 2010
  • March 23, 2010
  • April 20, 2010
