Regional and local publications may be less reliable. Magazines and newspapers are less reliable sources of information than books. This is because they are written and published faster, and frequently facts are not as well checked. In addition, you may find more bias and prejudice in such periodicals. Business Week, Time, Newsweek, have huge staffs and somewhat better reliability than many publications, but they can make blunders too, and may, in a rush to publish, give less than a balanced view. |
